# Is the course fee separate from the state fees?

Yes, completely. We are not the state, not the testing vendor, and not a bonding company — the $69 buys the prep course only. The exam fee goes to the testing vendor, the $43 filing to the Secretary of State, and the bond premium to a licensed surety. We never charge you to register for the exam, and no one ever should — registration is direct with the vendor through azsos.gov’s links, and anyone selling “registration help” is charging for something the state gives away.
