# What do I do after I pass the exam?

Your score email contains the link that generates your official notary application — that starts the clock. Then, inside your 90-day validity window: buy a **$5,000 four-year surety bond** (in duplicate) from a licensed surety, complete the application online at azsos.gov, **print and sign it by hand** (no electronic submission), and mail one package — signed application, original bond, and **$43 in fees** ($25 application + $18 bond filing) by check or money order — to the Secretary of State, with tracking.
