# When can I schedule my exam?

Whenever you’re ready — appointments through Pearson can be made up to one calendar day in advance, subject to seat availability — but time it against two clocks. Your **90-day score validity** starts at your test date, so don’t pass too far ahead of being ready to file the application (bond first, then the mailed package). And register with the name **exactly as it appears on your government ID**; mismatches are a known check-in problem. The efficient sequence: finish the course, pass the timed simulations, schedule, and use the 22-minute cram audio the day before.
