Every retake costs the exam fee again, and the waiting rule is the one published when you registered — screenshot it. The current Pearson VUE notice: the exam can be taken 3 times, and after the 3rd failure you wait 30 days to reschedule. The manual-era rule (legacy Prometric): 30 days after any failure, and a one-year wait after three failures.
